PHOTOG · PRIVACY POLICY

Photography connected. Privacy respected.

This policy explains how Photog handles information used to operate photographer profiles, portfolio imports, discovery, identity verification, bookings, and the Photog 100 beta.

Information Photog receives

Photog receives account identifiers, names, email addresses, profile and business information, portfolio uploads, selected specialties and markets, usage events, support requests, and the status of identity, membership, payment, and payout processes.

Instagram and Facebook imports

When a photographer voluntarily connects a supported Meta account, Photog requests permission to view eligible professional-account or managed-Page media so the photographer can choose photographs to import. Photog does not publish to the connected account. Only photographs the photographer selects are copied into the photographer’s Photog portfolio.

Connection credentials are protected and tied to the signed-in Photog account. A photographer can revoke access through Meta’s Apps and Websites settings. Revoking access stops future imports but does not automatically remove photographs previously selected and imported into Photog.

How information is used

We use information to operate profiles, search and matching, portfolio galleries, moderation, invitations, support, security, analytics, bookings, payments, verified reviews, and compliance. Photog does not sell personal information.

Sensitive providers

Didit hosts identity-verification forms and Stripe hosts financial forms. Photog receives status and reference identifiers—not full government-ID images, selfie images, bank-account numbers, or card numbers.

Visibility and retention

Profile information and approved portfolio work may be displayed publicly after verification, quality review, and publication. Private account data, contact information, support messages, and moderation records are not displayed on public profiles. Records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, payments, disputes, or legal obligations.

Your choices

You may update profile information inside Photog, disconnect Meta access through Meta, or request account and imported-data deletion using the instructions on our Data Deletion page.
